day 1: the unisport group taking a break on the way to glecksteinhütte
... the hut is already visible on the ridge
... and was duly reached in early afternoon
... view of tomorrow's destination, lauteraarsattel, in the far distance
day 2: in the morning, some crevasses to cross
... and some rock to climb
... and so we attained the narrow pass, below schreckhorn
... the other side was steep, so down we went with a fixed rope
... then crossed snow fields in the upper parts of the lauteraar glacier
... then walked on thick ice in the lower parts
... finally there were some ladders to climb
... but we did make it to lauteraarhütte, after 11 hours of hard work
day 3: up in nice grimsel scenery, towards fellenberglicken
... contemplating the next steps at today's crossing
... on the other side, the bächli glacier
... taking a break below diamantstock

... on the way down, passing via bächlitalhütte
... then descending via bächlisboden
... and finally down to greener pastures, at räterichsboden
